AdWalk: explaining a brand-new idea in four steps.
AdWalk is an LED screen worn by someone walking a fixed route through Leicester city centre every weekend. Local businesses put an offer on the screen, passers-by scan it, and they show a code at the counter. Nobody had seen it before, so the website had to explain it.

What it had to do
A business owner hearing “walking LED screen” for the first time has questions: where does it go, who sees it, how do I know it worked, and what does it cost? The site needed to answer all of them before launch, with no customers yet to point to.
The decisions, and why
One sentence first
The headline says what the advertiser gets, “your offer, in front of people deciding where to eat”, before it explains the screen.
The route, made concrete
Leicester Station, Granby Street, the Clock Tower. Naming real streets makes a new idea easy to picture.
Four steps, start to finish
Seen, scanned, claimed, redeemed. The whole idea in four words, each with one plain sentence.
Proof without pretending
The one footfall figure has a footnote to the Office of Rail and Road. The example adverts are labelled as examples. One section simply says real results will go there once there are some.
Price on the page
A launch price with the standard price shown alongside, and a founding-advertiser offer for the first three.
Light and fast
The homepage loads in about 95 KB across 10 files.
Where most of its visitors will see it.
Built phone-first, with the four steps and the pricing readable without zooming on a small phone.

What the owner says
“I run an advertising business and had no website, so anyone I pitched would look me up and find nothing. Imperial Studios put together a clean site with our packages and a gallery of the screens out in town. Now when a business owner asks who we are I just send the link, and one lead told me that’s what made us look like a proper company. £150 and £20 a month for the care plan was easy to justify. Quick turnaround, and whoever I dealt with was professional and sorted every need I had.”
We only publish results that can be checked. This page will be updated with real numbers from AdWalk as they come in, rather than guesses or rounded-up claims.
