“When people search for what I do, they find everyone but me.”

Google ranks pages that clearly answer what someone searched for, on sites that load quickly and work on phones. A lot of small-business sites miss the basics, so they never get a look in.

The moment it costs you

Someone types what you do and their town into Google on a Sunday night. The map shows three businesses and none of them is you. They tap the first one.

Most of the time the fix isn’t clever tricks. It’s getting the basics right.

Why it happens

No page that says what you do

If “boiler repairs” or “wedding cakes” only appears in a photo or a list, Google can’t tell that’s what you offer.

Check it yourselfDoes each of your main services have a heading, in plain words, that matches what customers would type?

Missing titles and descriptions

Every page needs a title and a short description for Google to show in the results. Many sites leave them blank or call every page “Home”.

Check it yourselfSearch “site:yourdomain.com” on Google. Look at the blue titles. Do they say what each page is about?

No Google Business Profile

The map results come from Google Business Profiles, not websites. If yours is missing or half-filled, you won’t show on the map.

Check it yourselfSearch your business name on Google Maps. Is your profile there, with hours, photos and a website link?

How we fix it

  • Pages that match real searches

Each service gets a clear heading and a few honest sentences in the words your customers actually use.

  • The technical basics, done properly

Titles, descriptions, headings, a sitemap and structured data that tells Google what kind of business you are. Included in every site.

  • Fast on phones

Built light, without heavy page builders, so it loads quickly on a weak signal.

  • Google Maps and your profile

Local search setup is included. Google Business Profile setup is a £25 add-on and makes the biggest difference for the map results.

  • Straight answers

What a website can’t do: guarantee rankings, or beat a competitor with hundreds of reviews overnight. Reviews and time matter. We’ll tell you what’s realistic.

Where we’ve done it

Rex Auto’s site is plain, fast HTML with no page builder. Every page has its own title and description, and the address and opening hours on the site match the business’s registered details.
